Reframing a financial-services website around clarity and trust

Fancrest Investment Limited is a Nigerian financial-services company where I work as a designer and developer. I designed and built the company's client-facing website, including loan-disbursement and budgeting calculator tools that help customers understand its services and plan repayments with greater clarity.

Problem

Financial-services websites often bury their actual offering under generic corporate language. The redesign needed to make each service concrete and easy to understand, while presenting a credible identity appropriate for financial decision-making.

Design decisions

Named service cards over generic copy

Each offering (financial advisory, capital provision, contract financing, wealth creation) gets its own card with a plain-language description.

Deep navy paired with a confident red accent

Navy communicates financial stability while red gives calls to action clear visual priority on a text-heavy site.

A consistent closing CTA

Present across every page, so the primary action stays reachable regardless of entry point.

Outcome

A complete four-page website design concept

Reflection

What I learned

Designing a real company's site forced me to reason about credibility and trust signals more concretely than a hypothetical brief would.

What I'd improve

Without access to Fancrest's actual customers I relied on my own judgement of what builds trust; I'd want to validate that with real users.

What I'd explore next

A responsive version, since this is desktop-only.
